Colin McCormack thinks he has it
all - a great job, a steady stream of hot younger guys, and a best friend whose
devotion he takes for granted. But when a charming and mercurial intern sweeps
him off his feet, Colin sees a chance for something more: A family of his own.
What he discovers instead is a shattering secret that may cost Colin everything
-- and everyone -- he holds dear. By turns funny, heartbreaking and hopeful,
DADDY explores the universal need for love and connection, and the evolving
understanding of "family" in today''s rapidly changing world. Following a
buzz-heavy world premiere in New York and an extended run in LA, the critical
smash play by actor Dan Via is now coming to the big screen, directed by Gerald
McCullouch.

Wonderful movie that is more than worth watching

Don''t want to spoil it, but this is beautifully
written, acted, directed and produced. I understand
now why the play itself was such a hit. In the movie
Gerald and Via make the most believably old friends,
probably because they are, but it translates
perfectly on the screen. Their conversations, with
both nonverbal and spoken words, breaks down the
typical stereotypes for the consummate gay man and
makes it just a normal human conversation. I could
see this movie made for anyone, straight or gay, it
doesn''t matter, the ingenious play turned movie is
great. The story has a great plot. The seasoned
playboy falls for the young intern, but the twists
and turns it takes along the ride, are more than
worth the price of admission. Its a great movie for
anyone that truly likes good content, theme and
overall script. I hope you all like it as much as I
did!
