Plot:

Four handsome men from the planet Mars come to Earth to find fertile women. They kidnap Juanita, chain her up and rape her. Since Martians are very advanced, the gestation period lasts only a few seconds and Juanita can give birth to over 600 babies an hour... But this amazing vision is just a floor-show in an Atlantic city nightclub and its stars are mere mortals.
Felisa is jealous of her husband who leaves her alone most nights. One night she follows him, and falls into a trap he has set for her. Among other things there is an espionage group which leads to violence and adventure.

Life starts to imitate art when an actress who stage show involves aliens impregnating her encounters aliens in search of fertile women to help repopulate their planet.

If any Jess Franco films truly lives up to its title that would be “Sex in Crazy”. This film is definitely crazy and not just because the mixing of sex with aliens. The film opens and ends with Lina Romay’s character being screwed by aliens while an audience is watching. The plot as it progresses then reveals that is was all a stage show. The bulk of the film focuses around two couples made up swingers and their sexual adventures. Then Franco shifts back to the weird alien vibe he started with only to briefly abandon it until the films ending which involves those pesky aliens. So where their aliens or where they just a figment of Lina Romay’s character’s imagination. The film never makes clear what is real and what is not. So I guess we will never known truth behind the aliens’ mission. Even with a plot that is a schizophrenic as Sex is Crazy the film still bears enough of Franco’s style to make the journey all worthwhile.

The films four leads Lina Romay, Antonio Mayans, Lynn Endersson and Antonio Rebollo are very good in respective roles. These four actors and the rest of the cast all play several different roles in the film. Lina Romay turns in another delightful performance that is equally sensual and humorous. There are plenty of sex scenes in the film with the most bizarre ones involving the alien stage show where after each alien has sex with Lina Romay’s character her stomach expands. The most memorable moment is a foursome scene featuring the films four leads. The films score was composed by Jess Franco under the alias Pablo Villa. The film also features some music that was composed by Daniel White. Ultimately Sex is Crazy is a delirious sex comedy that masquerades as a science fiction farce.

Extremely bizarre Jess Franco flick about an actress (Lina Romay) who puts on sex shows with a story involving aliens who kidnap girls and knock them up. The first gag is that the women, due to the super sperm, can deliver 600 babies an hour. The second gag is that real aliens see this and decide to get in on the action. This is probably the best sex comedy I''ve seen from Franco. Romay, when she''s not showing off her sex talent, can be very funny with a light comic touch and she gets to deliver that several times throughout the film. The sex scenes are all very soft and it''s rather funny seeing Franco, a sex director, show why "sex is crazy" to look at. The alien make up at the start of the film is cheap but very effective looking. Original title: El Sexo Esta Loco.
